Dating My Ex - Should I Consider Dating My Ex Again?

Right after going through a breakup, you start to consider your dating options. In order to give your relationship another try, you need to show that you are willing to try to make things better. Relationships require a little give and take, and without both, you have little hope of having your second time around working.

After you get through all this, you need to consider the other factor in your breakup. For instance, work, friends, family, hobbies and interests. To a degree, all of them played a role in splitting you up the first place. Were they driving a wedge between you? Was there something you'd want to change, or something you'd be willing to change about yourself? Are you willing to move past that, or prevent them from destroying you again?

Lastly, you have to decide if you love your ex enough to go through it all again. Taking a chance on a second chance is not something to do on a whim, you need to commit to it, or it won't work. If you think you can just fall back into your old relationship, I'm sorry to tell you, then you are totally out of luck.
